Thanks for the kind words all. SeanMac, re the Ottolock, huge thumbs up. It's light, it's easy, and I like a combination lock so I don't have to carry around a key. I'm sure the lock is breakable, but it deters the unplanned theft. That's all I'm after anyway. I don't think people want to steal bikes here in St. Louis like they do in the Bay Area or New York. I'm sure it's not that people are any more honest here - they just are not as interested in bikes.
Deacon Patrick and RichS, re the albastache bar, it is a nice change for me. I started with albatross bars, but they felt too "slow." I don't know that I go any faster with albastache bars, but I feel better leaning forward. Perhaps it's a natural tendency to slouch? Dave, re the bell, it's nothing I designed. I bought it from Tomii Cycles in Austin, TX. Joe Bernard, the zipties are for the taillight wire. Perhaps there's a better way to route it? At any rate, the tail light works. Rusty Click, that's a Pass and Stow front rack. I think you're supposed to able to mount the light to the rack, and even run the wire from the hub to the mount, inside the rack. But I'm not that handy. So the wire is ziptied to the rack, and that's a Soma Wingman (sp?) light mount, that puts the light out front.
