Heat, tap, apply some penetrating oil (like PB Blaster from Home Depot), let sit over night and repeat as long as the hex socket is intact. Then it's time to break out the screw extractor. Worse case (for reuse of the grip) is that the head breaks off that set screw. If it comes to that I don't know that a good answer exists that doesn't exceed the cost of replacement.
Bet you'll remove and grease up the entire screws when reinstalling!
