Just off the top of my head here, but the biggest difference I remember of is that the older models has curved seat stays and the newer ones don't. Older came with Bosco Bullmoose bars instead of stem+bar combo, Shimano Altus derailleurs instead of Deore, and maybe included pedals and seat. I remember something about the seat tube becoming slightly tapered (like a baseball bat) but it's not obvious even in the close up photos.
