Although I've Framesavered or Boeshielded a frameset or two in my time, I'm of a similar opinion. I just don't think it matters much. I have bikes from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, not a one a garage queen, not a one frame saved, and they will all likely be going fine when I'm gone. Rust never sleeps, but from my observations, it takes a long long time to eat a bicycle from the inside out. But it sure feels like you are accomplishing something worthy when spraying those chemicals into those steel tubes, I'll give you that!;^)
