IIRC, at the time Grant was playing around with the name Rosco Bubbe. First as a new model name. I believe that eventually became the JoeAppa. He went as far as putting stick on letters on a prototype. One of things he did was switch the initial letter— so Bosco Rubbe. The bike name changed and Bosco became the new handlebar.
