I had to get a shorter stem when I first started riding the 48cm noodles too (9cm). I've been riding the Crust 66cm drops lately and I'm using a stem that is basically 3-4cm. I love the noodles but I wish Riv/Nitto would spec a wider version, like a 58cm.
