Good point about doctors knowing so much that isn't true! How many times 
does the medical guidance flip-flop on coffee? (and I love my coffee!)

My doctor did admit there was little research available on the health 
benefits of coconut oil, despite his hesitations. It's one 
easily-replaceable food to let go of. He didn't try to get me off the low 
carb eating--how could he, all my other numbers were up!

I will continue with my low-carb eating ways. It just works for me on so 
many levels.
