I have a 62 in the queue, and have sold enough spare bike stuff and a few other things to almost pay it off. (All that stuff I was saving for a future classic lightweight build of some sort, that honestly will never happen.) Seeing the badge makes me all the more certain this one will be a true keeper and daily driver. I did get a couple more details (keep in mind it's early and things could change) regarding the frame when I wrote to Riv to be sure I wasn't selling off the wrong stuff:
It will have downtube shifter bosses! IMHO - that's a win. My plan is to set it up with at least a front shifter, if not both. It will take a 27.2 seatpost. Not surprising, but all the same a nice way to ensure that pins can be swapped around as needed. It may or may not have a rear brake "canti hanger" like the Atlantis and Bombadil. Prototype will not - production may. The prototype is due in to Riv in March. Can't wait! My own mini contest: First one to post a photo of the prototype bike to the Hunqapillar Flickr page gets a prototype reproduction of a wonderful Frank Patterson illustration - you'll see it on the page. Here's the Flickr page for the Hunqapillar - use it to post photos or comments as you like; http://www.flickr.com/groups/1358...@n23/ Marty -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
