Jason asked about the hub. I’ll post details on the build, but its a Phil Wood Kiss Off hub, 135 spacing, fixed/fixed.
Carla asked about gearing, cogs, and fenders. Fixed gear riding requires chain tensioning via horizontal dropouts (sliding the wheel horizontally to adjust the chain). A chain tensioner (as one might use with single speed) doesn’t work with fixed gear. Yes, the Quickbeam dropouts allow a greater range of gears (specs to be posted in the build post later), in this case 61” down to 42”. Fenders can be used with the Quickbeam rear track style dropouts, but I won’t be using them for the knobbies I ride and the noise and fuss. Not sure I covered all your questions, holler if not.
