That was a superbe deal on the Quickbeam.  I saw it just after it got 
posted and cringed that it was not a 58.  I'm not particularly interested 
in a singlespeed, but I have been curious to try one.  I gave it a shot a 
while back with an early 70's Fuji Track bike that was designed with brake 
mounts, but after nearly doing a header when braking, I have not ridden it 
since.  For that price, I would be thrilled to try it out again.
