Of course, forgot: You may ask, why did I bother to remove the eyelets? Well, I know it won't make me faster, but I think the long, bare curve looks better, I think than the curve interrupted by 2 never-to-be-used eyelets. (I have the '03 Curt with the same dropouts, which does have rack and fenders.)
