There are a few options, Bill. The first requires setting the timer on the iPhone and chucking it in the air and catching it after. This tends to yield poor results and extensive phone damage. Alternatively, as I’ve learned to do, a Gorilla pod for iPhone hugs tree branches and holds the phone. Then I use a timer and burst mode. This yields better results and costs less, presuming no need to replace the phone each photo shoot. Grin. Pro Hint, (or at least a be-less-of-a-moron hint): remove the tripod when you remove the phone to check your shots, lest you have to backtrack miles and remember where you put it when you realize you don’t have the tripod a few miles later (if you’re lucky! Grin.).
