Might also want to check and make sure all cable housings are fully seated in housing stops... I mention this after having experienced a similar phenomenon that resulted from a ferrule and housing working its way out of a stop at some point when disengaging a quick release brake and this caused extra tension when reengaged and partially squeezed the caliper.
