I love it. I really think there is a market for the L models with a setup to carry kids. It would be a great way to bring in a new generation to Rivendell. I love my Joe as s kid hauler (though really appreciate how much fun it is without a 30 lb kid and a full shopsack). I think a Mountain Mixte would do great as well.
