My wife took me to a Cajun restaurant for lunch today and there was small LBS next door so I ventured in and found a real rarity........an LBS guy who is a big Rivendell fan! He mentioned that one of his customers brings in a "copper" colored Rivendell with double-top tubes and that when the bike is there, he can't stop looking at it! He also loves the double top tubes. I ran down the list of models I've seen with two top tubes and he thought it was a Bombadil. We had a nice bike discussion and he's as big a bike nerd as any one of us and goes to HAHBS and has met many of the big names and even knew GP worked at Bridgestone!
Anyway, the point of all this is that I mentioned Rivendell's situation and asked him to spread the word to anyone he knows or thinks may be a fan.
