No warnings about back pressure and skidding. Once the hub is in gear, it is locked and I have skidded the back wheel a few times - especially in low gear where it is super easy to lock it up! The only thing to look out for is to be sure the hub is propery adjusted for positive gear engagement. This adjustment is very easy to make and maintain.
