Have you tried the Crane Riten Bell?
It doesn’t have a single striker, it has a couple strikers that are forced
outward with centrifugal force.
Instead of a ding ding, they make a brnnnngggg brnnnnggg tone and do so on the
push and return.
They are loud but have a nice tone.
