Yes-- this is a 1-inch threadless stem… as found on the Legolas and
Roadeo (trying to keep it on-topic for this list!). Indeed, the bar
size at the clamp end also happens to be 25.4.

So I just took an early lunch and "fixed that for you", and it now
works well with drops. Yes, I admit to having two of these in the
stash… and will be keeping this one. The other (also NOS) one remains
untouched. Or, buy my lunch, and I'll sell you this modified one for
$60 shipped! ;-)
