I've been using the 38x700c extra light on my salsa vaya for the past few seasons for both on and off road ride. This fall I switched out to surly knards. On my first ride I rolled the front tire while cornering very hard at speed and went down pretty hard. I'll likely be putting this Compass back on soon. Just real great tires that are so much more capable than they look.
