I'm sick of this stupid new world we live in where truth is whatever we say it is, and a thoughtless comment is just another POV. Sorry, sometimes saying the wrong thing is just wrong.
Two years ago my friend - only 38-years-old - was diagnosed with Stage 3B colon cancer. She immediately went into surgery, followed by 6 months of chemotherapy. She's better now, but it brought everything in her life to a halt for a while, and remains a life-changing event.
