Yeah, I have the exact same bike/frame from the same period and it's a 54. Looking at the pics of this one, the distance from the pump peg on the head tube to the lower lug is greater than the distance from the peg to the top lug. The distance on mine is equal for both. Therefore, I'm thinking this is a 56. (judging from the saddle height vs. the handle bar height in those photo's it looks like the rider might've been better off on a 54, though)
