Thanks all! Kai, not to worry... no plans to part with ChocoClem. Although I am interested in seeing how the chocomoose actually feels on the big 27” Schwinn with 62.5 top tube but I’ve been resisting messing with it for now.
Patrick/Wayne , sounds like a great plan and fortunately I’m not yet forced to purge completely so that just might work out as suggested. I’ve also greatly admired your dynamic duo, Patrick, that’s a solid combo you have there and I’ve been following your new adventures in single speeding with great interest recently. A 68cm Quickbeam has been in my bucket list and has already inspired several of my builds. Keith, should you decide the complete Quickbeam makeover is right for you then yes, maybe we should talk. Although I’m in no rush to make any decisions on that fork I would likely be willing to pass it along especially knowing it’s a perfect fit for you. I may also be open to trades and/or giving up the fork plus 32f rack if that was your desired rack set up. I test fit the 32f on my Clem but v brake noodle interference ruled that out and I haven’t yet been able to talk myself into a canti conversion just for the sake if making the mini rack work.
