Yep, you both seem to know what I'm after. The disintegrating vest has zip off arms, but they are too short for on the bike so I took them off years ago. It an old Illuminite vest; the part that is breaking up is some sort of white layer between inner mesh and outer nylon. The cut is great though - baggy enough to layer off thick sweaters and pullovers and breathe, but with a drawstring waist.
