A separate but still closely related question: In your (2nd person personal pronoun, plural, genitive case, otherwise stated as "y'all's" or even "all y'all's") experience: where is the best place to place a very bright light for moderate off road riding -- rough and sandy, but generally flat, with some roots and gravel?
I know Surly says, at the dropout, but I've tried that and found it too low. Presently, on my Matthews, sort of by default (because the system is designed to have you mount your bar there) it is mounted on the bar just to the right of the clamp, and I've found it fine. but I wonder if any of youse have gotten better off road illumination from crown or mid fork height mounting? The light is a K-Lite, the one with high and low (1200 and 600 claimed) and a 10 minute capacitor. Noted about the 2 lights for off road suggestion. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
