I guess that grin in the final photo is the Deacon Seal of Approval? The Steilacooms sound wonderful, and if they were 12 mm wider I'd try them, but I fear they'd do non-optimally (sheesh, what jargon) in 2" silty sand. (I find 50 mm to be a sweet spot for our sandy soil.)
