I was there as well. I don't think John made it very far down his list of pre-submitted questions, as many people from the audience had things to ask. I was impressed by the quality of the questions, and Grant's willingness to be open about everything from manufacture and geometry theories to his future plans for products and the company. He spoke very highly of the Taiwan factories and the bikes Rivendell receives from them, noting especially that they all arrive exactly alike, with nothing out of spec.
I don't think it was recorded, unfortunately. Paul - The upcoming Silver component(s) will/may be a replacement for the Silver shifter, based on a Suntour thumbie (his previous project that was scrapped and now may be back on track); and MAYBE a brake inspired by the now discontinued CX70 (for fear the CX50 will be next on Shimano's chopping block). The "vehicle" is something sort of like the Kickbike in particular I believe. A relatetively large wheeled, large tired, push scooter. I was also very excited to win a hatchet!
