You don't have it too bad. Years ago, after my divorce, when I moved into a
1 bedroom apt after moving out of a 3000+ sq ft house with triple garage
(and only 2 cars), I turned the "dining area" into a bike cache, with hooks
along the north wall to hang 6 of my then 7 bikes (or was it 5 of my then
6? forget). Dining was done on a 36" diameter round table with 2 chairs
stuck under the counter separating kitchen from living room. The kitchen
was good size for a 1 bedroom, and had a large utility closet on its north
end, with 2 big slatted doors. I installed shelves at east and west ends, a
work table in the middle, and a peg board above the table; voila, a very
compact but very usable work space.

However, when it came to using the Park stand, it was the middle of the
kitchen floor; and for a full bike overhaul, it was tarp spread on living
room rug, bike on its side, and bits spread out all over.
