Tony asked which bike I would try to take on PBP if it were next week. I'll answer that a little bit obliquely by saying that I'm planning on doing the traditional San Francisco Randonneurs 2018 SR Series on my Samuel Hillborne. So, if PBP was next week, I suppose I would do PBP on my Sam Hillborne. Whether I can complete an SR Series in 2018 is unknown to me, and if I can, I expect to become a lot smarter about what bike I should use for a 1200k.
