Mine (edeluxe ii hanging/widebody hub) is located on my M18 rack bolted to front eyelet. So it is a little in front and to left of tire, but clears tire. It has a balanced wide beam that lights up the entire width of a two lane street. Width of beam equal on both sides. No problem with that.
But there are three definite columns of light that shoot forward off the lens. One in the middle, two on either side, just slightly shorter than the center beam. Advertised pics show an evenly flooded, squared off, uniform, single field of light, not the dimmer, patchy three columns I have always had. Also, it isn't nearly as bright as pics portray. I can't even photograph the beam as it won't/just barely shows up in the pictures. Bought it new from reputable dealer inn USA, and yes, the lens is oriented correctly. It is a great light, and I enjoy it, but a little disappointed as it doesn't perform like advertisers' pics. I want to try a brighter light next, like the IQX, but who is to say that the beam will be like the advertised beam pics? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
