Coincidentally, the hardly too-serious (more hilarious) TeamDreamCyclinTeam launches a new selection of apparel, both cycling performance specific and casual today (9/19 at 12:00pm PST). Ordering is easy though the website but they have a large online / social media following and things do sell out pretty quickly. The quality of the LA made cycling goods is terrific.
Bill calls it right in that they are "good hard-working positive bunch of cyclists, putting a ton of effort and energy into building a genuine community around themselves in that South Pasadena area". To be sure, these aren't the reviled, tempo-driven roadies often pilloried here -- in fact, this group seems to spend as much time under-biking their way through and over the Los Angeles National Forest and local Verdugo Mtn. unpaved roads as they do on the road. They're also connected to Silver Lake's Golden Saddle Cyclery, which, has a great Instagram feed of 'visiting" bikes -- many that would be appreciated here. Any "hating" in their direction would be misinformed (in my opinion, anyway).
