I stopped by RBW for some parts today and got to see a beautiful Simpleone prototype. It's a 64cm in a very attractive burgundy. The decals are very tasteful, and they even include Rivendell in small type. Sorry, I had no camera with me. Without the decals, you would think it's a Quickbeam in a new color. I didn't get a chance to ride it, but I may go back tomorrow with camera and time to try it.
If you missed out on the QB, you won't go wrong getting a Simpleone (pronounced sim-play-own-ay). ;-) One of the parts I picked up was the SRAM road lever: http://www.rivbike.com/products/show/sram-s500-road-brake-levers/15-164 I've used the Cane Creeks and Shimanos, and the SRAM is in between those in size, and has a better ergonomic shape, at least to my hands. It also has adjustable reach. jim m wc ca -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
