Currently shopping for a bigger seat bag (see unrelated post), but for now I am limited to 2 almost twenty year old Jandd underseat wedges, one on the tandem, one that gets switched back and forth between the Sam Hillborne and the 1990 Fisher Sphinx (monstercross). So the list is pretty basic and boring. When I get a bigger bag, I'll probably carry a small camera on most rides.
In the tandem wedge: 26" tube (in ziplock; tired of ozone damage) Cooltool multitool (no longer available, but a great tool esp. for touring) and/or Topeak Mini 9 if I remember to switch it from the single's bag Insect repellent wipes (my wife is a mosquito magnet) tiny tube of sunblock (always seem to forget to apply before riding) two tire levers (forget the name, but possibly Dutch?, black plastic, came as a set of 3, snap together, are narrow but very thick and do not flex!) REMA patch kit (with extra REMA patches; don't know if these really are the best, but they are the patch of my childhood in Germany) A couple of zip ties dental floss (always get food stuck...) A 100 baht note (~$3; lunch for 3, a ride home in a pickup truck "bus" for 3-5 people, or a tire boot...) (for multi-day rides, I add a Fiber Fix spoke, and a tiny zip bag of assorted bolts & nuts and washers: rack hardware) In the single's wedge: 700c tube (in ziplock) small Topeak multitool (Mini 9) tiny tube of sunblock one tire lever (the third of the 3-pack) MEC patch kit (with extra REMA patches) A couple of zip ties dental floss A 100 baht note Cheers, Gernot On Jan 26, 9:38 pm, Steve Palincsar <palin...@his.com> wrote: > On Tue, 2010-01-26 at 15:23 -0800, manueljohnacosta wrote: > > For me I have a carradice barley bag. which i fit everything and > > anything in.
