Also: For a couple of my bikes, instead of allen sets or multi tools, I just bundle the allens + a 10 cm open end wrench, + 4" pocket knife, and Presta valve tool, all together with a rubber band. There has to be a more elegant way to contain all these together. Altoids tins make them all rattle.
Other ideas? I'd prefer a bag or box or case instead of a rollup, because something constructed will, or ought to, allow me to extract the right tool without having to spread everything out on the ground -- I'm usually holding the bike up with my hip when I search for the tool.
