The tires (Challenge Parigi-Roubaix) are sold as a 27 and look like a 27 to me but I haven't measured. They feel great - the whole bike does. I had this fear throughout the assembly that the bike wouldn't fit - Rivendell had me going with a 57 based on their measurement system, but I instead went with a 59 (closer to what I am used to riding - I'm 6 '2 - and it seems perfect.
