I've only got a couple of thousand of miles on my IQ-X, so it's not had the chance to get any serious wear, but as for plastic lenses I put about 25,000 miles onto a IQ-Cyo (another plastic-lensed joint) without noticable lens wear. The -X has an impressive beam throw, so even with some fogging it should be substantially brighter than a Cyo or eDelux.
