Hey bunch, Chalida's recovery had me hopeful early this morning when I learned that my bike was stolen. So I hope it's alright to post this here, as some bits are from Rivendell; it's such a strong supportive community; and so many eyes from this page live in the Bay. Taken Sunday night, June 2 from Rockridge area in Oakland.
Trek 400 Elance converted to 650b. Here are notable features: -- paint was removed and frame left unpainted; raw steel -- VO 50.4 crankset -- wheelset: SP front, Ultegra rear, laced to Pacenti Brevets, Pari-Motos skin wall -- Berthoud Aspin cork, Acorn roll-up bag -- red Newbaums/ amber shellac/ on Nitto 132 bars -- edelux mounted to front fork end -- SILVER dt shifters This bike was a spankin new build, not registered, no photos taken.
