Maybe some folks are getting out in the winter squall coming off the Pacific?
I was sitting in my office, and noticed it wasn't raining yet, but the sky was threatening. I thought I could do my regular 2-hour loop up to Pt. Loma before the storm hit us. Well, 10 minutes into the ride the rain started. It soon became horizontal. Gale force winds. Rode through 8 inches of water for a spell. I finally (inadvertently) cleaned the bike.
