They are deep drop with a nice round curve, like the Noodle.  The Noodle 
has a longer reach and as a result a better ramp area behind the hoods. 
 The tops are straight on the 66 and bend back just a hair on Noodles. 
 That particular specimen linked is very unusual in that it's 46cm wide and 
double grooved.  

I think the 66 shape has aged well.  If I was to pull together a historical 
re-enactment build from the 1980s and I wanted to use it as a rider, I 
would definitely use the 66.
