Spring has sprung, and you're wishing you'd ordered that Homer six months ago. I can help.
My rarely-ridden Homer, which can be seen here, https://flic.kr/s/aHskTpGpmb, came to me from RBW on July 1, 2014. For a number of bike-unrelated reasons, I've ridden it much less then it deserves. It's in fantastic shape, and I'd like to sell it complete for $3000. Local pick-up or drop-off, or meet-in-between preferred, which means I'm looking for a buyer in the Midwest, preferably within a few hours of eastern Iowa. If you're *in* Iowa, or southeastern Minnesota, southwestern Wisconsin, northwestern Illinois, or northeastern Missouri, or eastern Nebraska, I might even bring it to you. After the first week of May, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana are also possible. If you happen to be passing through eastern Iowa, you're welcome to a test ride. The particulars: - 61 cm AHH frameset, Waterford built (though two bottle mounts); excellent condition, no dings or scratches - Rich-built Velocity Dyad rims, White Industries MI5 36h rear, SON28 36h front, VO 52 mm Zeppelin fenders, Compass Barlow Pass tires (ca. 100 mi) - Phil Wood BB - XT derailleurs, Silver downtube shifters, 11–32 8 sp cassette, Sugino 46/36/24 crankset - Paul Racer brakes, Dia Compe Gran Compe 202 non-aero levers - Mark's Rack, double-strutted, Schmidt EDelux upside-down - VO Chris's Rando bar + Tallux 8 cm - Brooks B17 Special saddle Since I last offered the bike for sale, I've added VO Zeppelin fenders, 52 mm. (I bet there is enough room in there for the new, slightly chubbier BPs, too.) The fender line turned out beautifully, if I do say so myself. The picture also shows a Berthoud Alex Singer bag, a Topeak frame pump, and a Nitto Wire Guard (https://www.rivbike.com/products/nitto-wire-guard-20189), all of which I'm happy to include. You'd be welcome to the original Marathon Supreme 40 mm tires, and one or both of the other bar/stem combos this bike has seen: Noodle 46 cm + Tallux 9 cm; Grand Bois Randonneur + Tallux 9 cm (25.4 mm). You may also have the RBW-fitted SKS Longboards that came with the bike For reference: saddle height in the picture is just between 76 and 77 cm. I'm 5-10 with longish legs.
