Grabbed my 40-year-old Raleigh Comp for a spin Friday, heading up a moderate hill. Heard bikes coming up from behind and soon passed by a couple of full-kit youngsters on spendy plastic bikes. Not surprised they passed mye by but was surprised how SLOWLY they passed. I'm still getting in shape after the winter, hadn't been on this particular bike in years, was in too high a gear, and a month and a half from 62. All in all, not bad for an old crock. Cheers!
