So I have a few factors that help me decide, the first is how much I value my marriage,second space and lastly trying to balance that with my constant search for the "perfect" stable.
My ideal number is around four. one for fastish for me road, single speeder, all rounder, and mountain bike. I think I could get away with two if I had to. But any more than four I feel choice paralysis kick in every time I go to ride. Right now I have three bikes all Rivs, an Atlantis, Simple One, and Clem. Also have a San Marcos frame I am on the fence about and that is currently up for sale but that might change.
