700 actually. I followed Grant's recommendation on the brakes after
speccing the clearances that I was looking for. Sport Touring rig
about sums it up, yes. I will most likely ride it sans racks for
longer mixed terrain rides around Los Angeles. There are quite a few I
have had my eye on for several years. From my house I can ride nice
roads and fire roads all the way to the coast. I believe XO-1 took a
group on many of those roads/trails last year on an epic. I'd love to
throw some fat knobbies on a have a go at a good chunk of the MTB
trails I have ridden hundreds of times. Should get some interesting
looks, I'm sure.
