I was not speaking of the Tourguard version, but rather the unbelted
wire bead "regular" Pasela.

I did buy 2 sets of Compass McLure Passes to replace my Pasela
26 X 1.5 tires for my allrounder and X0-1; the X0-1 is one of my
commuters. I got 3 flats in a couple of months with the Compass
tires which was a bit of a PITA but they are more performance
oriented.Normally (may the gods not strike me down for this) I
rarely get flats. I love the extralight 700 X 32 Stampede Passes
on my road bike but at 78 USD a pop they're definitely not a
practical commuter tire. On my mixte I have 650B X 42
Paselas...thought about Compass tires but I think I'll stick with
the Paselas w. Tourguard for now. The folding bead tires are not
egregiously heavy. My experience , YMMV.
