This and the stupid facebook page that someone pointed out over in iBOB are really scary. Just hearing about this kind of animosity, I'm sure, is enough to deter some folks from riding their bike to work out of fear of some kind of hate-crime against bicycle riders. That just adds to the tragedy.
Still, I'd be willing to have some compassion for a guy whose life is as ruined as his, due to some stupid road rage. Definitely justice served, though. But what gets me about this story is that the guy tried to say in court that he'd only "stopped his car to take a photo to identify the riders and never intended to hurt anyone". Wow.
