Well I certainly don't need another bike. Sam Hillborne and the Boulder have fulfilled my biking needs beyond my imagination. I have a few others in my stable.
Several weeks ago, DW and I took the ferry over to Coronado and rented a Burley tandem. We made it downn the strand bikeway to Border Field and back without marital discord and agreed we had a fantastic time. Rent one once every year or so for a special occasion, enjoy it, and then be done with it until the next episode. (apologies to any Corvette convertible owners who really like having one). And, to be fair, DW and I do not regularly ride together (other than the rental on Coronado) and she is not so into biking. So, for me, it is a fantasy.
