The m18 gets bendy with loads of 4-5lbs, in my experience. I like a mark's rack, and have one on my main bike, but these days I put a long strut down to the drop out. Even then, there is noticeable sway. The whole diving board attachment point seems to need a redesign.
I liked the vo constructeur rack (and shouldn't have sold it).
