The way I figure extra meta data in the database of the univererse is
not really a bad thing.  For only an extra few clicks you get a little
more coverage for the objects of our attention.  Better coverage at a
minimum is just that, and if it leads to growth of our numbers,
possible sales for Grant, etc. then it is only a good thing, no?

The increased meta data and cross referencing may or may not also
enhance search result optimization outside of the flickr pages.
