Direct answer to Beth's question: I love the 559 size, and my enthusiasm for it was just renewed in the past few days, partly from reading this list and partly from tuning up my XO and riding it as the commuter. Riding this bike feels great. I'll be taking it on many regular old road rides in the near future. (It has Avocet 1.25" Fasgrip slicks and mustache bars at seat level, using a dirtdrop stem.)
And I'm 6'3.5", and usually ride 64 cm 700C bikes.
