I had planned to glue mine in, but pressed it in while the turning was hot from the lathe . . . it is now permanently press-fit in the housing. One of the best parts of this LED module is that the lens is the on/off switch. You just twist it clockwise for on and counter-clockwise for off.
William - nice work on the design, really love the look of it and utilizing that particular LED module was brilliant. Belopsky - You could probably mod one of these to hold a bulb driven by a generator. I've made a few lights for dyno-hubs and usually start with an old Miller Light - like the kind that came on old Schwinns. Theres plenty of room in the housing and the lenses look great.
