There are lots of good builders out there -- and getting a custom is always
a neat idea. Many builders have their own ideas about how a bike should be
built -- sometimes some will build whatever a customer wants -- or thinks
they want -- all ok.

No offense to Belopsky, but in this case I feel this is request a bit off
-- presumably you really like what Riv has done with the Atlantis -- and
who can blame you -- it is a great bike, and I love mine. It has in part
been responsible for the greater availability of versatile bikes. I think
asking folks on a Riv list to give you exact dimensions so you can have
someone make you a cheaper copy does a disservice to both Riv and the
builder.

If you really love the Atlantis, save your pennies and buy one from them,
or wait to find a used one -- reward Grant and Riv for what they've done in
creating something you want. If you want something similar for less, let
your discount framebuilder spec it out.
